In the wake of an attempted truck theft Revelstoke residents should make sure their vehicles are securely locked every evening.
Staff Sgt. Kurt Grabinsky said Thursday, July 23, that between 11 pm and 3 am someone attempted to steal a 2008 Ford F350 in Arrow Heights.
“2005 to 2008 Ford F250 and F350 trucks are known to be high-value targets,” he said.
The theft was unsuccessful due to the vehicle having an active theft-deterrent device installed. The public is reminded to secure all vehicles and utilize theft deterrent systems when possible.
