Local trees massacred

These pathetic bits and pieces are all that remain of the line of lovely maple trees that lined the southern edge of the parking lot on Campbell Avenue behind the Canada Post and Parks Canada offices. The trees were allegedly butchered this week by BC Hydro because their branches were too close to some overhead lines.
