Some lazy goof recently dumped two or three bags of garbage on the side of Big Eddy Road where it crosses the CPR line near the Trans-Canada Highway. An outraged Current reader called to tell me about this and said she had seen a young black bear feeding on the garbage, which included kibble, processed food and beer cans, liquor bottles and other food waste. Way to go, you thoughtless, lazy twit: You just sentenced that animal to death as it has now learned that human trash = an easy meal.But that’s only part of the equation. This animal will eventually learn the rest of it: human trash = an easy meal = a bullet in the brain pan. And why would you do that?
