Julia Dorrius wins her first adult-level tournament

Julia Dorrius won the Ladies C Division at SquashFEST in Summerland this past weekend. SquashFEST is a summer tournament that attracts more than 60 squash players from throughout BC and Alberta. Julia played fantastic squash all weekend in cruising to 3-0, 3-1, and 3-0 (Finals) victories toward her first adult tournaments win. She defeated Beth Barberre of Edmonton in the. Despite it being a summer tournament, the event attracts many very strong players. Julia and the rest of the Revelstoke Junior Squash team are busy training for the upcoming Junior Squash Season which will kick off with the Revelstoke Junior Open October 2-4.
