High-speed Internet service lights up in Revelstoke

With a snip of his scissors Mayor Mark McKee officially marks the moment on Tuesday, July 14, that Telus's new high-speed Internet service begins working in Revelstoke while Telus Regional Marketing Manager Clare Adams starts cutting the celebratory cake. The brief ceremony took place at Shannon Van Goor's (that's Shannon on the right holding the cake) Telus Mobility store on Connaught. The first service area in the city includes the downtown core west of Connaught Avenue to Pearson Street from Victoria Road. Other service areas will become active in the days to come. David F.
