Here's something you don't see every day

Here's something you don't see every day: a bunny being taken for a walk downtown. Xena Tilden brought her eight-year-old pet Hässien for a walk downtown on Tuesday because she needed to visit the Revelstoke Credit Union. It wasn't the first time she brought her rabbit out for a stroll. As you can see, Hässien has her own harness and leash and is quite responsive to her mistress. While Xena was inside tending to her affairs she tied the well-groomed bunny to a tree under the watchful eye of her friend Ethan Todds. As passers-by stopped and smiled at the sight Hässien nibbled on a couple of lweeds growing between the paving stones set around the sapling in front of the credit union. David F. Rooney photo
