Golfers put their clubs to work for a good cause

Wendy Toyer, executive director of the ALS Society of BC (left) and Taylor Pearcey, Revelstoke Golf Club's assistant professional, pose with Revelstoke's Pauline Hunt and Dean Jackson, the club's head golf pro, during a photo opportunity at the club on Thursday morning. Percy and Jackson participated in the annual golfathon for the ALS society. Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis is a debilitating and terminal illness that Pauline struggles with on a daily basis. The ALS Society of BC is dedicated to providing direct support to ALS patients like her, along with their families and caregivers, to ensure the best quality of life possible while living with ALS. The two golfers raised just over $2,000. Photo courtesy of Dean Jackson
