June is Invasive Species Action Month across British Columbia and the Columbia Shuswap Invasive Species Society (CSISS) will be taking part in a number of family-friendly events throughout the region.
Invasive Species Action Month is about increasing awareness of the harmful effects of invasive species, preventing their introduction and highlighting our beautiful native biodiversity.
“Each and every person can make a difference, including you,” the society said in a statement.
”Be part of the solution and learn about ways you can help our environment.
