This past Sunday the U14 Boys Rep Soccer team travelled to Penticton to play a very strong, undefeated Penticton side.
This was their biggest challenge to date. Penticton plays year round, training within their own soccer academy and dedicated indoor facility. Despite a strong effort our boys suffered their first loss. It was a bit of an eye opener after our early season success.
Despite the loss we came away with an appreciation of the things we need to work on and a resolve to improve on the result when Penticton has to travel to play us June 6.
This upcoming weekend sees the boys play in Kamloops on Saturday and then our first of seven straight home games on Sunday, May 10, 1 pm at the Centennial Grandstand Field. Come out and support our side in what should be a competitive game against Kamloops.
