The franchise at Victoria Road and the Trans-Canada had been closed for weeks as workers gutted it and replaced it with new flooring, machines, fixtures, furniture and even two gas fireplaces. The restaurant reopened on Saturday, May 9. David F. Rooney photo The restaurant’s main facility was closed for a couple of months as workers gutted it. If you needed a hit of coffee or one of their doughnuts, sandwiches or a box of Tim Bits you had to make do with a temporary facility by the drive-through lane. That ended Saturday when the restaurant reopened and people began to trickle in for the things that make their mornings bearable. David F.
