AHE Student Reporters
The AHE student council decided to take part in drive for the Revelstoke Women’s Shelter this past week. Today, May 7th, the student council gave what the students at school collected to Nelli Richardson for use at the shelter. We are learning about different local charities that are available in Revelstoke. This was a great cause to devote our efforts to.
Richardson explained that women and children in Revelstoke sometimes have a need to relocate to different homes, where they don’t have anything to start off with. We collected things such as tea towels, small kitchen utensils, and toiletry items to help support this cause.
