Life-long learners honoured

Okanagan College’s Adult Learning Week proved itself to be a success with local businesses, institutions and non-profit groups joining it to offer Revelstokians new opportunities to expand their horizons.
Together they offered a wide range of free workshops and programs ranging from an incredible edible film organized by the NCES and a financial workshop held by Columbia Basin Alliance for Literacy to a scrapbook-making class, a Common Threads knitting club session at the library and yoga for beginners at Balu Yoga.
It all came to a head on Friday with a party and the presentation of certificates to individuals nominated as a life-long learners. Here are a couple of photos from that event:

This week has seen a celebration of life-long learning with workshops of all kinds across the city.
