Stella-Jones shows its heart

A local mountain biking enthusiast is attempting to gauge the level of local interest in “recreational mountain biking activity in Revelstoke, specifically the interest in lift-accessed mountain biking here.” Jason Zimmer told The Current on the weekend that he has received 778 responses to his survey but most are from people who live outside Revelstoke.  *** Forester Pat McMechan presents Patti Larson with a cheque for $1062 on behalf of Stella-Jones.  This is its first corporate donation to the Revelstoke Food Bank for 2015.  Every year Stella-Jones donates all of the proceeds from their firewood sales in Revelstoke to the Community Connections Food Bank and the Revelstoke Woman’s Shelter.
