The Christmas Spirit in action, 2014

Christmas begins at home every year in Revelstoke as local people work to make this blessed season one marked by generosity.

Here are photos that demonstrate the reality of that attitude:

Thursday was Contractors' Night at RONA. Builders came down to the store in the Industrial Park to socialize, donate cash, bid on a secret silent auction item. RONA's annual Christmas tree sale also netted plenty of things for the Community Connections' Food Bank and Christmas Hamper Program. David F. Rooney photo
Thursday was Contractors’ Night at RONA. Builders came down to the store in the Industrial Park to socialize, donate cash, and bid on a secret silent auction item worth up to $1,200. RONA’s annual Christmas tree sale also netted plenty of things for the Community Connections’ Food Bank and Christmas Hamper Program as you can see by the packed shopping carts. The generosity and community spirit of the contractors and RONA will be further demonstrated when the food, cash and other items are presented to the Food Bank. David F. Rooney photo
