2458 Rocky Mountain Ranger Cadet Corps is holding its 3rd Annual Splash & Tower Climb at the Fire Hall on Saturday, November 29, between 11:45 am and 3 pm.

This fitness challenge involves two phases. The first being the dreaded six-storey hose-drying tower at the fire hall.

“For one hour we see how many times we can go up and down…. it is very challenging,” Suzanne Tippe, chairwoman of the Cadet Corps’ sponsoring committee, said in a statement. “The second phase is a one-mile swim in the community pool next door to the fire hall. This takes roughly an hour as well. We have been collecting pledges for a few weeks now and we will for another week.”

If anyone would like to donate or if they would like to sponsor the Marksmanship Team they can call Susanne Tippe (Chairperson of the Sponsor Committee at 250-683-8335) or pledge any of our local cadets.
