The Okanagan Regional Library Board is cutting assistant-level librarian time in Revelstoke by eight hours a week, while increasing student page time by two hours a week.
“Due to attrition, the staffing-level target for Revelstoke has already been reached, and no further action is anticipated at this time,” said a statement from the ORL headquarters in Kelowna.
“For Revelstoke, the impact on branch service will be that staff are busier, but it will not result in a loss of open hours.”
Hours were cut in other library branches as well.
