The Current plans video and print interviews with all Mayoral and Council candidates. It will also publish a school board story focusing on the two new additions to the board — Leslie Savage and Bill MacFarlane.
All of this material will be published over the days and weeks leading to the election on November 15. The video interviews will also appear on RCTV.
Readers should not forget to attend the October 22 All-Candidates Forum, which will be moderated by Geoff Battersby, at the Community Centre starting at 7 pm. There will also be a speed-dating Q&A with individual Council candidates on October 25.
The ‘speed-dating’ session, formally known as the All-Candidate One-on-One, is to be held in the Macpherson Room at the Recreation Centre from 2 pm until 4 pm. Citizens are invited to come out and chat one-on-one for a few minutes with participating City Council and mayoral candidates.
