Oliver Swain, one of the best singers out there with an astonishing range — both emotional and technically — is performing at the Revelstoke United Church on Wednesday, September 17, at 7:30 pm.

Add to this his world class bass and banjo playing, a body of powerful original and uniquely arranged traditional songs, and you have a performer who elicited no less than three rousing standing ovations in a single performance at ArtsWells Festival in August.

Joining Oliver as part of The Big Machine is veteran cellist Corbin Keep. Corbin, aka The Wild Cellist, is an innovative player who is also strong a solo performer in his own right. His multifaceted cello playing adds colour, depth and sonic ground to the duo. Corbin and Oliver have toured extensively in 2014 and have played at Vancouver Folk Festival, Calgary Folk Festival, ArtsWells Festival, Rifflandia and many other concert venues.

Tickets to this event are $20 at the door.
