Hydro’s Family Fun Days yields tangible assistance for Community Connections

BC Hydro's Alex Heeps (left) and Liz Craig pose with Community Connections Executive Director Craig T. Brown as they present him with a cheque for $1,520.40 and a wall hanging made by people who attended the recent Family Fun Days at the Revelstoke Dam. Every year the utility picks a charity to benefit from Family Fun Days when it donates its admissions to them. Community Connections staff also provided a barbeque and family activities during the July 12-13 event. The money raised during Family Fun Days will help underpin agency programs that do not receive core funding. David F. Rooney photo
