Family Fun Days at the dam!

Every year BC Hydro selects a local charity to benefit from its Family Fun Days at the dam. Community Connections was selected as the lucky charity this year.

Community Connections staff members served hot dogs, chips and pop, and there was a bake sale with fantastic baked goods. Visitors to the dam donated their admission fees to Community Connections and played miniature golf while the younger ones had their faces painted and made crafts.

Here is a selection of photos from Saturday’s fun:

You can almost hear the wheels turning within Craig T. Brown's mind: "Mmm... I could go for another one of these!" The Community Connections' executive director was taking a break from manning the barbecue. "This is a great little way to raise our profile," he said. "We're very thankful to BC Hydro for selecting us this year." David F. Rooney photo
