MLA Norm Macdonald visits the BCTF’s front line in Revelstoke

Striking teachers and Canadian Union of Public Employees picketers at Columbia park Elementary School talked with visiting MLA Norm Macdonald on Wednesday afternoon, June 18. Macdonald, himself a former teacher and principal in Golden before he became that town's mayor and then our constituency's MLA said he could offer no insight into the actions of the BC Liberal government. However, he encouraged them to keep on fighting for improved class size and composition conditions, which he regarded as key issues in the BC Teachers' Federation fight with Victoria. David F.
