How much pot did you have in your trunk?

An Alberta man pulled over at a traffic stop near Greeley by the Integrated Road Safety Unit (IRSU) and Trans-Canada East Traffic Services may have thought he was okay when he produced a Health Canada Licence to Possess Marijuana for Medical Purposes. However, he neglected to factor in the amount that RCMP officers found in his Chevrolet Cruze — 25 times the amount he was licensed to have. Health Canada allows a license-holder to possess a maximum of 150 grams. The pot was being transported in the trunk of the East-bound vehicle in large bags. The Mounties detected the smell of the grass when they pulled him over. The vehicle and driver were bound for Calgary. The 23-year-old male also had a large amount of Canadian currency on his person. The man was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and given a September court date in Revelstoke. Photo courtesy of the Revelstoke RCMP
