High drama at the library

About 20 children attended a multicultural story time at the library on Saturday, May 10, featuring stories from Quebec. These multicultural story times, funded through Embrace B.C. , will be taking place on Saturdays throughout the year at the library. These programs are suitable for children 10 and under, though children under 6 should be accompanied by an adult. The next story time, on June 7, will feature Canadian Aboriginal stories and crafts. No registration is required for this free program, but if you would like more information, please call the library: 250-837-5095. Here, storyteller Gabriella Draboczi (left) with Julie Laverdiere, mesmerized her audience with an action-packed story that included multiple costumes changes and lots of audience participation.
