City invites comments on vacation rentals issue

If you have something to say about the City’s proposed Vacation Rentals Bylaw you had better get your comments to City Council by Tuesday, June 24.

Vacation rentals have been an issue within the community for a number of years. Proposed zoning bylaw amendments, outlined in the attached report, would add vacation rentals as a defined use, create subzones for the use and add regulations including parking requirements.

Anyone may attend the June 24 public hearing, which starts in the Council Chambers at 2 pm, and comment on the bylaw.

You can also send written comments to the City at admin@revelstoke.ca by e-mail and by Canada Post at 216 Mackenzie Avenue, PO Box 170, Revelstoke, BC V0E 2S0.
