New digs for Stoke FM

Stoke FM's Scott Duke looks pleased to be moving the independent radio station, which you can hear at 92.5 FM into new digs at 111 Second Street East next door to Benoit's Wine Bar. He and friends Mike Stevens (left) and Mark Ludge spent Monday morning moving equipment and furniture into a small office suite on the second floor. They expect to have everything in place by Friday. Stoke FM’s Scott Duke looks pleased to be moving the independent radio station, which you can hear at 92.5 FM, into new digs at 111 Second Street East next door to Benoit’s Wine Bar. He and friends Mike Stevens (left) and Mark Ludge spent Monday morning moving equipment and furniture into a small office suite on the second floor. The station has — until now — operated out of the basement of Scott’s house off Cedar Street at the top of CPR Hill. Now he’ll have a room with view as the sound booth will be going into the center office space where Scott and the rest of the on-air talent will be able to look out at Second Street. Scott expects to have everything in place by Friday, April 18. Looks great, guys. David F. Rooney
