Today’s Farmer’s market has been postponed until Saturday, March 8, due to a closure of the Trans-Canada Highway.
A statement from the market organizers said: “We’ve been pretty lucky with avoiding road closures for the past couple of years so I guess we were due for one. The next available date for the Community Center is for Saturday so we’ve decided to hold the market then.
“Hopefully you will get this message in time (or hear about it through the grapevine) to avoid a fruitless trip to the Rec. Centre. And if Saturday is your chance to enjoy a powder day, don’t forget that we stay open ’til 5:00pm which still leaves plenty of time to visit the market after a good day of skiing!”
