A local jeweller who turns children’s art, photos, handwriting and drawings into custom keepsake jewelry for men and women is donating 30% of her sales to the Begbie View Elementary School’s PAC.

“With two young children of my own, both who attend BVE, I’m happy to give back to such a great school.,” says Melissa MacDonald, owner of Cuff Love.  “The proud looks on the faces of both child and parent when they see their own artwork in a custom jewelry piece is priceless – I love preserving these special moments in time in this unique and creative way.”

She said in a statement released on Thursday, March 6, that 30% of all sales, including those online from March 1 – May 5, will be donated to the BVE Parents Advisory Committee, directly benefiting the children and school.

Melissa MacDonald creates and sells her personalized jewelry online at CuffLoves.com.  Her company has gained national recognition, and her jewelry has been recently featured in Today’s Parent magazine and showcased on the daily talk show, CityLine TV.
