Bringing the community banner program to life

The banner program is in full swing and there is still room for more people to come out and create banners that celebrate our community.

Program Coordinators Jackie james and Tina Lindegaard say that about 70 adults and children have painted banners and there is still room for about 50 more. They are also seeking local firms to sponsor or create business  banners.

Anyone interested in sending a lovely afternoon painting a banner should call the Community centre at 250-837-9351 to register for the program.
