A fashionable moment at AHE

On Friday the 14th of February, the Arrow Heights Elementary Grade 4/5 class had a special event: A Fashion Show! The Grade 4/5s had been learning about the words for clothing in French, and this was a fun and exciting way to exercise that new knowledge. Without further ado, we introduce the models. Top left: Here, Samantha Brown struts her stuff on the runway in Mrs. Gadbois’ 4/5 class at AHE. Top right: Michael Miertsch walks down the runway sporting his tie and shades. Middle left: Here’s Jade as she walks the runway. Middle right: Jade Davies practices her French as she describes her partner’s clothing in Mrs. Gadbois’ 4/5 class at AHE. Bottom: Gavin Camera has a blast on the red carpet in the Fashion Show at AHE in the 4/5 class. Rebecca Grabinsky and Michael Miertsch talk about his outfit and Tye Hoshizaki looks on. Thank you to all the models, and a hearty well done! Special thanks to Grade 4/5 teacher Michelle Gadbois for putting on this spectacular event. Pictures and captions by Alice Dunkerson and Amelia Brown AHE student reporter/photographers.
