In Pictures: Municipal Good Samaritans lend a hand

Freelance photographer Jason Portras was out and about on Sunday morning when he came across a semi that was stuck in snow and blocking part of the intersection of Victoria Road and the Trans-Canada.

As he watched, he saw two City employees come up to the truck so he grabbed his camera and fired off a series of frames. What he captured was a nice little story…

On Sunday morning at approximately 10:30 am, a semi-truck completely blocked traffic on the north side of Victoria Road near the Shell station. Two City of Revelstoke employees arrived on scene, and began to help the driver free his truck. Jason Portras photo

Freed from the snow bank, the driver is soon back on the road and on his way, thanks to the efforts of the City employees. Good job guys! Jason Portras photo
