The Community Choir’s voice was sublime

The Community Choir’s Down Home Christmas Concerts at the United Church on Sunday and Monday  evenings were delightful, fun and, at moments, simply sublime.

The men and women of the choir obviously spent a great deal of time at this project and it showed. They performed extremely well on all 21 of the songs they sang. They were accompanied oboeist Akane Setiawane on two pieces, Scarborough Fair and Ave Maria, pianist Lida Carey playing a piano solo on the concert’s opening piece, A Christmas Medley. Excellent solo performances were also delivered by Mikayla Simpson, Claudia Cinelli, John Teed, Ken Jones, Taylar Masson, Jacolyn Daniluck and Arianna Morrone
