The Chamber of Commerce celebrates its 2013 Business Excellence Award winners

Revelstoke’s business community celebrated the best of the best on Saturday evening with the Chamber of Commerce’s annual Business Excellence Awards.
This was the best-attended party of its kind in years with 275 people in attendance. Music was provided by The Bob Rogers Quintet, there was a silent auction and a culinary experience catered by La Baguette. And, of course, there were awards. Who won, you ask? This year’s award winners were (in order of their presentation): Angela Thompson, Employee of the Year; Sky Trek Adventure Park, Tourism and Attractions Excellence; Paramjit’s Kitchen, Food Service Excellence; Kyle Buhler Cabinetry, Industrial and Manufacturing Excellence; Swiss Chalet Motel, Accommodation Excellence; Grizzly Book and Serendipity Shop, Retail Excellence; The Modern Bakeshop and Cafe, Youth Employer Award; Nu-Trend Construction; Best New or Renovated Building Design; Beau Miller of Beau’s Hot Yoga, Entrepreneurial Excellence Award; Diva Den Day Spa, Home-Based Business Excellence; Roberta Bobicki – Revelstoke Credit Union, Community Support Excellence; Kevin and Kathy Blakely and McDonald’s Restaurant, the People’s Choice; The Nomad Food Company, Business of the Year; and Emma Kirkland, Powder Springs & The Last Drop, Business Person of the Year Award.
