Pee Wee Grizzlies win their tournament

Revelstoke’s Pee Wee Grizzlies won their own weekend tournament on Sunday waging a successful and exciting final 9-5 match against the Lake Bonavista Breakers from Calgary.

Parents were very impressed by the kids’ performance.

“Like Bonavista is a very good team and our kids are performing extremely well,” said Chris MacDonald during the second period.

The Pee Wee Grizzlies truly did perform well and they had fun doing it. Besides Lake Bonavista, a suburb of Calgary, there were teams from Trail, Simons Valley, Chase, Crowfoot, Winfield and Kamloops.
