With much love and great sadness, Jim Eadie’s family announces his sudden and unexpected passing.
Jim leaves to mourn his wife Dana Stark, son Evan, parents James and Gwen Eadie, brother Dean, in-laws Larry Stark, Candice Stark (Brian), brother-in-law Trevor (Charlene), numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and associates.
Jim was born and lived in Revelstoke until he graduated from high school.
He then attended Selkirk College in Castlegar and from there he went to the University of Alberta and graduated with a degree in forestry.
He then moved to Vanderhoof and made his home there.
He worked for Canfor forest industry for many years and then started his own forestry consulting business.
Jim was well-travelled and loved the outdoors. He especially enjoyed fishing with his son, Evan, and friends.
Jim was an accomplished hockey player and coached many Minor Hockey teams.
Jim’s life touched many people and he made many friends.
Jim left us and went home to be with the Lord but the memory of Jim will live in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, October 12, in Vanderhoof.
