Local Mounties have busted a known trafficking centre and arrested two men and a woman for possession of crack cocaine.
After a three-day investigation officers entered a house in the 500 Block of Wilson Street on Wednesday October 2 and executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant. They seized cocaine, marijuana, cash, electronic equipment, power tools, cell phones, a machete and a baseball bat — both items “commonly used by drug dealers for protection,” Cpl. Thomas Blakney said in a statement released on Friday, October 4.
At least one of the men arrested has now been charged with trafficking.
The investigation continues as Blakney said some of the property seixed during the raid “may be linked to other offences.”
