Teens Playing for Change at the library

On September 21, some local teens marked international Playing for Change Day by having an informal acoustic jam at the library. The Playing for Change foundation is committed to promoting peace through music, and celebrates diversity by bringing musicians from all over the world together.

The young musicians are: Gordon Masson on bongos, Mack Mallet on Bass, Hailey Christie-Hoyle and Madison Howard on keyboards with Daniel Blackie on guitar and a new friend from Oliver named Curtis in the tie-dyed-shirt. The library is looking forward to hosting more Saturday afternoon teen jam sessions in the future.
