Local Mounties have arrested four men and a woman in connection with the production of counterfeit money and several counts of possession of bogus American money, which was being passed through a number of local businesses.
This investigation resulted in the search of two local residences where police seized two “modified assault-style rifles” and ammunition as well as printers used to produce the fake money and quantities of American bills in the denominations of 20s, 50s and hundreds.
