In Pictures: The Little Bear Soccer Tournament — UPDATED!

Rain failed to dampen the enthusiasm of parents and children who flocked to town for the 16th Annual Little Bear Soccer Tournament.

There were 43 teams entered in the tournament — that was about 600 players plus parents and families who accompanied them.

Organizer Alan Chell said the  soccer tournament was a great success for the 43 youth teams from BC and Alberta. He said he would specifically like to thank:

  • The City of Revelstoke and School District #19 for the excellent preparation and condition of the playing fields.
  • Revelstoke Youth Soccer executive, coaches, players and parents for all their work
  • The community of Revelstoke for outstanding hospitality. The teams raved about the friendly reception they received from hotels, motels and restaurants.
