The Revelstoke branch of the Okanagan Regional Library is set to three programs for pre-school children starting next month.
Babytime, which is for children up to 18 months of age, begins on September 11 and will run every Wednesday until October 30 from 9:30 am until 9:50 am. This program will focus on reading to the registered children, singing and playing.
Toddlertime is for children between 2 and 3 years of age and over. It will be held on Fridays starting on October 4 and ending November 22. It will be held between 10:15 am and 10:45 am and will emphasize interactive storytelling, rhymes, songs and puppetry.
Storytime will be children from 3+ to 5 years of age. It will be held on Thursday afternoons from 1:15 pm until 2:15 pm. It will begin September 26 and will end on December 5. Puppetry, songs, rhymes and imagination activities will be the hallmarks of this program.
These programs are all free but registration is a must. Registration is after September 4. You can register then by calling the library at 250-837-5095 or by going to www.orl.bc.ca/branches/revelstoke and following the directions.
