Volunteers gather as physical work on the Hunt House begins

Builder Dean Prunkle addresses volunteers who gathered to help with the demolition of walls and the roof of the home of Pauline and Simon Hunt and their daughters last Saturday. The Habitat for Humanity project will renovate the Hunt home to accommodate Pauline Hunt's changing health needs. Pauline Hunt has ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). "It's a good project for the community," said Prunkle. "I grew up hear and I figured it was a way to give back." Volunteers can sign up to help with the project at http://www.homeforthehunts.com/volunteer.html. Laura Stovel photo
