The on-again/off-again quasi-controversy over which CBC Radio station should serve Revelstoke is once again showing signs of life.
“I thought I’d give you a heads up concerning Daybreak Kamloops’ online poll this week asking input from Revelstokians on this semi-controversy,” reader George Winningder told The Current on Monday.
“I put my oar in this morning but the road through the CBC’s byzantine website to find it was more than most of us want to bother with. I emailed them and Josh got back to me in short order with this:
“‘The poll is online, and the PSA will run this week at either 6:58:30 or 7:58:10 depending on the day. The poll can be found at cbc.ca/kamloops.’”
The question is dead simple: “Do you want to continue listening to Daybreak Kamloops on weekday mornings or would you prefer to listen to Daybreak Kelowna?”
If this is a burning issue for you please go online and vote. Only one vote is permitted per household. Revelstoke residents only please. The poll will close at 6 pm on Friday, June 21.
