Local seniors marked World Elder Abuse Awareness Day with their monthly birthday party for members one of whom, Kay Martin, turned 101 this month.
They were also treated to some poetry by Community Response Network volunteers Tuulikki Tennant and Peter Waters, as well as a draw for some CRN swag.

There was a heck of a nice birthday party at the Senior Citizens’ Association on Wednesday. June’s birthday boys and girls included Water Brettermeyer, Mary Doebert, Norma Sharp, Carol Sakamoto, Martin Jones, Arnold Tallis and Clancy Boettger who posed with Kay Martin (center foreground) who turned 101 years of age on Thursday.
