Generous support for l’École des Glaciers

Revelstoke’s first French-language school, l'École des Glaciers, celebrated its first year of existence with a potluck dinner at Williamson Lake with current and future students and their families in attendance. During this event the Groupe culturel francophone de Revelstoke presented the school with a donation of $500 for the purchase of French books, magazines and school materials for the next school year. The funds were collected through various events organized by the francophone group such as movie nights, the annual sugar shack, and Christmas and potluck dinners.
