Happy grant recipients

These happy people all represent local groups that have benefitted from the  Revelstoke Community Foundation's philanthropic ethics. From left to right in front are: Andree Rioux of the Hospice Society, which received a grant of $1,500; Marjorie Somerton of the Railway Museum, $700 for its Screen Smart Smart Leggo Creation Event; Sue Davies of Bear Aware, $2,000 for its fruit reduction program; Patti Larson, representing Community Connections; $2,500 for each of three programs, the Food Bank, a Nutrion Education Program and the Summer Day Camp; Cathy English of the Museum & Archives, $1,000 for its Children's Multicultural Activity Centre; and Garry Pendergast of  the Arts Council, $1,500 to hold live performances in local schools.
