After 20 years as Revelstoke’s go-to printer Craig McKee has sold Revelstoke Printing and is now seeking new career paths in life.

“It was a good business,” he said in an interview Sunday. “But after 20 years it was time to move on.”

McKee said Revelstoke Printing has been purchased by Lakeside Printing of Salmon Arm and Lakeside Accuprinting of Vernon. The business formally changed hands on March 31.

“The high point was really dealing with people,” McKee said. “Over the years we did just about everything for just about everybody.”

Menus, posters, documents, flyers — you name it. If it was meant to be printed he created it.

Craig also enjoyed organizing sidewalk sales, the Passport to Christmas program and other tactics intended to boost overall sales within the local retail community.

“We worked awfully hard to grow the business,” he said. “We doubled our sales in the first five years and just keep on goin’. But it’s time to move on. Revelstoke Printing will be in good hands with the new owners.”

As he considers his options Craig appreciates all of the people who helped him make Revelstoke Printing a successful and viable business.

“I’d really like to thank all of my customers,” he said. “They’re the reason we were successful.”

Revelstoke Printing is located at 204 First Street West but will soon be moving to new space in the Arlington Building across the street from the Regent Inn. You can reach it by phone at 250-837-3822
