You don’t see this every day…

Everyone in town knows that the intersection of Fourth Street and Victoria Road is a dangerous one. An accident on Friday morning underscored the need to improve that particular junction.

The mishap involved a logging truck that lost its load as it turned left from Fourth onto Victoria.┬áNo one was killed, but imagine what might have happened if there were pedestrians present or a vehicle parked beside Jim’s Refrigeration.

Business owner Jim Schwab said he was working and didn’t hear anything.

This is the second accident of its kind in recent weeks. Last month a logging truck lost its load at the Trans-Canada and Victoria Road. David F. Rooney photo
