You don’t see this every day…

Everyone in town knows that the intersection of Fourth Street and Victoria Road is a dangerous one. An accident on Friday morning underscored the need to improve that particular junction.

The mishap involved a logging truck that lost its load as it turned left from Fourth onto Victoria. No one was killed, but imagine what might have happened if there were pedestrians present or a vehicle parked beside Jim’s Refrigeration.

Business owner Jim Schwab said he was working and didn’t hear anything.

Fortunately no one was injured in the accident, but as you can the load ended up against the wall of Jim Schwab's home and business, Jim's Refrigeration & AC. David F. Rooney photo

This is the second accident of its kind in recent weeks. Last month a logging truck lost its load at the Trans-Canada and Victoria Road. David F. Rooney photo
