The Rod and Gun Club’s annual banquet was quite a party with all the food and drink your could manage — and free taxi rides home if you weren’t safe to drive.
Special guests included MLA Norm Macdonald and Bill and Joanne Bosch of the BC Wildlife Federation.
Here are a couple of dozen photos of the event I hope you’ll enjoy:
The 2013 Rod and Gun Club Banquet was a sell-out affairs that filled the Multi-Purpose Room at the Community Centre with outdoor enthusiasts and their families on Saturday evening. David F. Rooney photo Wild game was the order of the day with plenty of moose, deer, bear, salmon, elk and cougar to satisfy all kinds of tastes. David F. Rooney photo There were plenty of non-locals at the event, too, such as BC Liberal candidate Doug Clovechok (right) and his wife Susan.
