Hearts to Heart: a quilt for baby Hugo

When infant Hugo Poole underwent heart surgery last month, the thoughtful and generous ladies of the Quilting Guild decided to produce a cuddly comfort quilt for him. Named Hearts to Heart, the quilt was presented to him on February 16 during the guild’s annual retreat for two days of sewing and project development at the Knights of Pythias Hall. From left to right in this photo are Hugo’s big brother Baron (who also received a gift from the guild), mommy Angela Poole, baby Hugo and guild members Irene Scarcella and Linda Walford of Cherry Blossom Lane Quilting.
