Austin Donaldson named the Grizzlies’ fans fave

The Grizzlies Austin Donaldson was named the Grizzlies' Fan Favourite for 2013 and presented with a trophy by team owner Lew Hendrickson during Sunday evening's game. "Austin Donaldson epitomized the heart and soul of the Revelstoke Grizzlies this year, constantly sacrificing, scoring important goals, and being a true leader," said the team's volunteer business manager, Steve Smith. Donaldson is the team's scoring leader with 65 points to his credit. The 19-year-old forward is from Calgary. This is his second season with the Grizzlies. The team won their final regular season game against the Penticton Lakers by a score of 6-2 on Sunday night. The Grizzlies are, with 58 points, currently in third place behind the first-place North Okanagan Knights and the Sicamous Eagles in the Doug Birks Division of the KIJHL's Okanagan/Shuswap Conference.
