The Anything Goes III Exhibition and Silent Auction scheduled for Saturday evening has been postponed.
Jackie Pendergast, executive director of the Revelstoke Visual Arts Centre, is flat on her back with a pneumonia and, therefore, can neither direct the show’s set up nor ensure that everything is prepared for the silent auction.
The show is one of The Centre’s major fundraisers. The money to be raised from this show was intended to help bear the cost of new flooring in The Centre’s public galleries.
“It is with regret that due to serious illness, I have had to postpone Anything Goes lll Silent Art Auction scheduled for Saturday 9th February,” she said in an e-mail to The Current. “You will be notified as soon as possible once a new date has been decided. All tickets already purchased will be honoured.”
